I learned a lot of new skills while working with Diigo, especially skills that I did not previously have. The organization of collected web articles and the possibility to collect data there within and put it in an so called "outline" is very nice. And over time you can create a very comprehensive collection of information from various sources into a single list. The integration into chrome and Firefox browser is great. You can also store pdfs and collect and organize information from within the pdf the same way you do with articles. Also the possibility to save and integrate photos from the web is great. A safe and solid working mobile app. This application can be very useful in the classroom because you can share things, collaborate on them (like annotating), and it is not hard to use. 

Bloom’s taxonomy is a framework for educational achievement in which each level depends on the one below. It’s often depicted in the form of a pyramid—similar to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Basic knowledge, the first stage of learning, leads to the development of the skills and abilities that are crucial to completing the pedagogical process: Comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. Teachers can apply Bloom’s taxonomy by asking questions and delivering assignments that directly correlate with specific learning objectives in each stage of the process, making the objectives clear to the student. For example, posing multiple choice questions can help gauge a student’s level of basic understanding and remembering of a subject, while asking a student to come up with a comparison or analogy points towards entering the application or analysis stage.

Technology in the classroom is moving at a rapid pace, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. As it continues to grow, so does the need for teachers to keep up with it. We are living in a time period where children as young as 2 can navigate their way through an iPad or smartphone faster than we can. Utilizing social media, subscribing to newsletters, asking questions and pursuing development courses are all aspects that teachers can utilize to keep up with technology trends.
